Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
